I'm temporarily living in Yuma, Arizona, and as driving facing the sunrise or sunset is BRUTAL, I needed a pair of super polarized sunglasses as I had left my William Painter "The Hook" pair back home in Georgia, I ordered William Painter "The Empire" shades to be delivered to me in Yuma, as a lesser quality brand just wouldn't do in the Sonoran Desert sun, and now I can drive again without being blinded at sunrise and sunset.

I've had these glasses for 4 years now and only minor scratches on the lens and I've had to tighten the hinge a few times. If someone asked me what's the best purchase you've ever made this is gonna be the answer. I wear them traveling, for construction work, & casually. Thought about requesting a new pair because of the minor scratches but it's more of an inconvenience to not have them for 1 week then the tiny scratches on it. Will never turn to another company for sunglasses.
